Following the 4-1 defeat to Manchester United, Boro boss Gareth Southgate says he feels more content with the performance compared to the previous week's loss to Chelsea.

Jeremie Aliadiere scored his first for the club as Boro levelled an early Nani goal, but the Champions class shone through in the end as they won easily.

Boro had gone undefeated their previous three trips to Old Trafford, but Southgate says he's sick of explaining defeats no matter who they are against, and knows the club aren't in a good position.
