Spurs striker Jermaine Defoe says he has no intention of leaving White Hart Lane despite not starting a game this season, as he came off the bench to bag a brace against the Cypriot side in the UEFA Cup 1st Round 1st Leg.

Younes Kaboul opened the scoring on 5 minutes before Michael Dawson, Robbie Keane and Darren Bent put Spurs four up at the break. Defoe's 63rd minute introduction was followed by a delightful chip from the forward less than two minutes after coming on, before the minnows pulled a goal back with some typical Spurs defending helping them out.

Defoe had the last laugh however, as he smashed the ball into the top corner from 25 yards deep in injury time. And with his side all but in the Group Stages, the 25 year old says he owes it to the fans to stay.
