Following a hectic week to say the least at White Hart Lane, boss Martin Jol finally gives his side of the story after rumours were rampant that chairman Daniel Levy was sounding out Juande Ramos for the managerial hot seat at White Hart Lane.

Despite numerous rejections from all sides (after the Sevilla boss claimed he was offered the job), Levy conducted an interview in hope to allay all the fears.

However, the Dutchman speaks at great length in his pre-match press conference ahead of the crucial trip to Manchester United, saying he does not feel he has been undermined, despite admitting his disappointment at the situation, and adding that he would 'rather die than sell Dimitar Berbatov.'
