Having already spent £40m in the transfer market since his appointment, it was left up to youth academy graduate Michael Johnson to score the only goal as Manchester City boss Sven Goran Eriksson watched his side beat Derby County 1-0 at the City of Manchester Stadium.

Eriksson says he's delighted to see his players adapting so quickly, with two wins out of two.
