Roy Hodgson says his English side will be put to the test against Poland when the two national teams clash in Warsaw.
England warmed up for the clash with a 5-0 win over San Marino on Friday night which put them top of Group G but expect a far more difficult experience against the Poles.
The Euro 2012 co-hosts endured a disappointing tournament last summer but have a number of players which can cause problems, notably striker Robert Lewandowski, who plays for Bundesliga champions Borussia Dortmund along with fellow countryman Lukasz Piszczek also in the squad. Polish captain Jakub Blaszczykowski, who also plays for Dortmund, is expected to miss out however along with Arsenal goalkeep Wojciech Szczeny.
Hodgson meanwhile is boosted by the return of his captain Steven Gerrard from suspension, although Chelsea duo Frank Lampard and Ryan Bertrand, who missed the San Marino win through injury, have failed to recover.
