Role is bittersweet - Coleman
New Wales manager Chris Coleman says it's a mixed feeling becoming manager of the Welsh national team.
The former Fulham & Coventry City boss has taken over the role from Gary Speed, who was found dead in his home in late November.
Speed was a good friend of Coleman, who wants to continue where his predecessor left off. Wales had enjoyed a renaissance under their former captain, with strong performances in the latter stages of Euro 2012 qualification, despite failing to reach the tournament.
And Coleman, capped 32 times at international level, has revealed he won't take charge of the side for the friendly against Costa Rica, which is being played in memory to their late manager.
Whilst feeling immense pride at being given the chance to manage his country, the ex-Swansea and Crystal Palace defender feels he has a lot to live up to.
