Redknapp fumes at Foy
Tottenham Hotspur Harry Redknapp has let his feelings known about referee Chris Foy's performance after Sunday's 2-1 defeat at Stoke City.
The North London side, who were on an 11 match unbeaten run, were on the receiving end of a number of questionable refereeing decisions especially in the second half at the Britannia Stadium.
Stoke's opening goal seemingly struck the arm of Peter Crouch before he squared for Matthew Etherington to score, whilst the second period saw numerous incidents ruled against the Lilywhites.
Having reduced the arrears thanks to a second half Emmanuel Adebayor penalty, the controversy began in earnest when Younes Kaboul was visibly dragged back by Ryan Shawcross in the penalty area whilst Spurs were taking a corner kick. Then two incidents quickly followed, as first Kaboul had his shot cleared off the line by Shawcross' arm and in the follow up Adebayor had a goal chalked off thanks to the linesman's flag, when replays showed he was clearly onside. More controversy followed when Kaboul, already booked for criticising the official for missing the handball on the line, got his marching orders for a foul on Jon Walters. Jermain Defoe also had a shot blocked by the arm of Dean Whitehead, although there was little the Stoke midfielder could do about the situation from point blank range.
Listen now to Redknapp's post-match press conference, where he believes despite their poor first half showing, his side deserved at least a point if not all 3 but for the officiating.

I was dumbfounded by the mistakes Foy made he
is supposed to be a professional referee.There were at least 3 handballs and
Kaboul being pulled down in the penalty area.
Foy should go back to school to learn the
rules about football.Foy is a big joke;;;;;
Harry has certainly understated the amount of bad decisions made by foye and his cronies. it wasn't only the obvious ones. There were so many that I lost count, not to mention the time wasting that he allowed to continue right through the game and decided to do something about it 10mins from time. In my opinion the man is either dishonest or totally useless as a Ref, either way he should not be allowed to Ref another match
