Tottenham face a tough task if they want to secure their first three points of the new Premier League season.

Harry Redknapp's side had a frustrating opening day, drawing with Manchester City at White Hart Lane after a masterclass in goalkeeping from Joe Hart.

That was followed by a shocking first half against Swiss side Young Boys of Berne in their Champions League Qualifier in midweek. A better second half performance has kept them alive in that but the Britannia Stadium is never an easy place to go to.

Stoke got off to a bad start last week when they succumbed to Wolves at Molineux, however Spurs have a number of injury problems, with Peter Crouch expected to lead the line on his own following injuries to Robbie Keane, Jermaine Defoe and Roman Pavlyuchenko.

Meanwhile the home side have new signing Jon Walters in line to make his debut.
