Cole on Liverpool switch

Liverpool's new signing Joe Cole says he's delighted to join up at Anfield, after ending his seven-year stay at Chelsea.

The former West Ham man turned down big interest to stay in London with Champions League qualifiers Tottenham, instead opting for the Europa League with Roy Hodgson's new team.

It's a move which the 28-year old is relishing, having moved away from the capital for the first time in his career. He's expected to feature heavily after a bit-part role in Chelsea's title winning season last year, although he did score at Old Trafford in arguably the most crucial game of the last campaign.
