Crouch on Egypt win
Peter Crouch has yet again impressed for England, as the striker came off the bench to bag a brace.
The win over Egypt was hardly a routine affair, with the visitors stunning a Wembley crowd in to silence when Mohammed Zidan put the Pharaohs ahead at half time. Crouch replaced his Tottenham colleague Jermaine Defoe at the break, and benefitted inside 11 minutes when he finished off a flowing England move to equalise.
After fellow substitute Shaun Wright-Phillips fired the home side ahead with 15 minutes left, Crouch then tapped home a cross from the Manchester City winger to seal the win.
Having scored 20 goals now in 37 appearances for his country, the 6ft 7in striker looks to be a certainty to go to the World Cup and says he's delighted to maintain his impressive record for the national team.
