Barry pleased with qualification

Gerrard and Lampard, along with Gareth Barry, are the only survivors of the team which suffered a shock defeat at the hands of Croatia on that fateful November night in 2007, so the Manchester City midfielder is relieved to finally lay that particular ghost to rest.

With England now guaranteed a place in the 2010 World Cup, Barry says its up to the individual players to go and show their worth throughout the rest of the season domestically, that they are worthy of a place on that plane.
