Clemence speaks at Nationwide launch
England goalkeeping coach Ray Clemence says Manchester City's spending power will add a new dimension to the Premier League this coming season.
Speaking at the launch of the Nationwide Football Annual, now in its 123rd year having launched back in 1887, the 61 times capped stopper, believes with the Eastlands outfit spending millions on players such as Gareth Barry, Carlos Tevez and Emmanuel Adebayor, the pressure on Mark Hughes will be evident with such a weight of expectancy on the club.
Being an ex-Liverpool legend himself, Ray discusses Xabi Alonso's ongoing transfer saga as the Spaniard looks for a move back home to link up with the 'New Galacticos' at Real Madrid and believes he'll be a big miss for the club should he seal a move back to the Bernabeu.
