Listen - Kazakhstan v England - Portsmouth's Crouch eyeing back to back starts
Crouch eyes start
Portsmouth striker Peter Crouch says he's eyeing up a second consecutive start for England when the national team travel to Kazakhstan.
The striker believes he can work his way back in to the set up and remains hopeful of continuing his run in the team this weekend. Emile Heskey, Carlton Cole and Jermaine Defoe are all back in contention, with only Rio Ferdinand and Ashley Cole sitting out training on Monday. Michael Carrick withdrew earlier and misses both games.
Fabio Capello's team currently hold a 100% record in qualification so far, including a 2-1 win last time out where Crouch opened the scoring against Ukraine. Wanting to maintain that record, they make the long trip to Kazakhstan, a team they beat 5-1 at Wembley, knowing they need a professional performance before ending the season officially at home to Andorra four days later.
