Listen - Champions League Final - Man Utd v Barcelona - Fergie taunts Madrid over Ronaldo
Alex Ferguson eyes Euro glory
Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson says he's setting himself for a glorious night in Rome as his side prepare to face Barcelona in the Champions League Final.
The veteran manager has also taunted Barca's La Liga rivals Real Madrid over their recent drubbing at the hands of the Catalan giants, who went to the Bernabeu last month and trounced Real 6-2, by saying his team were better than Juande Ramos' team, implying Cristiano Ronaldo would not benefit from a move to the Spanish capital.
The most watched match of the season takes place in the Italian capital, with arguably the two best teams in world football taking part and 'Fergie' says he's eyeing up a moment of glory in managing the first team to retain a European Cup since the competition took on its latest guise back in 1992.
With plenty of interest in seeing Cristiano Ronaldo take on Lionel Messi, the United boss says he is certain his winger can outshine the little Argentinian.
Rio Ferdinand claims he's back to full fitness after feeling no reaction to his ankle problem which kept him out since the Semi-Final win over Arsenal. But it's not all good news as their opponents, the newly crowned Spanish champions, seem to have both Thierry Henry and Andres Iniesta, the man who put the Catalan side through to this stage, are back in training.
