The finals of the Tesco Cup took place at the Reebok Stadium on Sunday 23rd May, where all the regional final winners from England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland competed at the three age groups - Under-13 boys, Under-14 girls and Under-16 girls.

Ambassador for the day was former Aston Villa and Republic of Ireland international Andy Townsend, and he saw Stokesley win the boys tournament, whilst Manchester City claimed the U-14 girls and Manchester United continued a highly successful season for the first team with victory in the U-16 girls.

Now a TV and radio pundit, Andy Townsend believes the tournament has been immensley successful and hails Tesco's involvement, adding that all in all it was a cracking day of football.
