Sir Alex Ferguson has responded to criticisms over his team selection for the game against Hull City.

Four teams at the bottom of the league are all competing to escape the two remaining relegation places, but the Manchester United boss says he's keeping his teams interest at heart, with the small matter of the Champions League Final taking place on Wednesday night in Rome.

Cristiano Ronaldo has been left out of the squad for the trip to the KC Stadium.
