Chelsea and England left-back Ashley Cole has hailed this season as his best yet in a Blues' shirt and says the club are gearing up towards next weekened's FA Cup Final, where they hope to give Guus Hiddink the ultimate send off in his final match in charge.

The 28 year-old has enjoyed a successful season so far on a personal basis, revealing injury hampered him when he initially arrived at the club back in 2006.

Although fatigue is now setting in, there's still the small matter of the Cup Final as well as two crucial World Cup Qualifiers for England before he can start thinking about a holiday, but admits he's determined to regain the confidence of the fans.

England face a long trip to Kazakhstan on June 6 before a home match against Andorra on June 10.
