Tottenham Hotspur look set to fail with any bid for Inter Milan midfielder Sulley Muntari.
Spurs boss Harry Redknapp worked with the Ghana international at Portsmouth, and appears to see him as a potential partner for Wilson Palacios in central midfield.
The player's agent Frank Schreier has claimed Spurs have contacted him on several occasions about a summer switch, but Muntari himself has recently expressed a strongly desire to stay at the San Siro, calling a potential move to North London "crazy".
Inter Milan have recently won their third consecutive Serie A title, and it seems unlikely that Muntari would miss out on Champions League football in favour of an early return to England.
