Arsenal are thought to be considering a move for Wolfsburg's Brazilian international midfielder Josue.
The Gunners have spent the season scouting Wolfsburg striker Edin Dzeko, and they have also been impressed by Josue's powerful displays in midfield.
It is widely accepted that Arsenal lack bite and experience in central midfield, and the 29-year-old would provide both qualities. He has performed consistently this season, and has broken into Dunga's Brazilian national squad.
Wolfsburg, who are on the verge of securing the Bundesliga title, would be keen to hang onto the player. However, Josue is thought to have been unsettled by the potential departure of boss Felix Magath, and he could be tempted by the chance to play Premier League football.
If football aint about weight and height, then why are fans clamouring for AW to add steel.
You can't be an artist/ballerina in the epl. It's the toughest league in the world where crunching tackles which can end a player's career are tolearted by the one eyed referees.
josue ia good experienced player with a brilliant abilty to read the game . his hard tackling and cleverfootwork adds to his overall destructive abilty. by that i mean breaking down oppositon moves.
footbal is not about height and WEIGHT. the biggest mistake we haerd this season is depth in the squad. we need these good players to have a strong team. Buy Josue
i think if Arsenal really buy Josue they could be making a mistake. He is too lightweight in terms of height and kg.
Anyone know what he's like ?
