North London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham are believed to be tracking Wolfsburg striker Edin Dzeko.

The 23-year-old Bosnian is regarded as one of European football's hottest properties, and his goals have helped the club mount a genuine challenge for the Bundesliga title.

Footballaudio.com understands Arsenal have been scouting the player all season, but it's now thought Spurs have joined the chase as they prepare to revamp their attacking options this summer.

Dzeko is sure to have impressed both clubs as he hit a hat-trick on Saturday in a 5-0 demolition of Hannover 96 which took his side to the brink of the title.

Dzeko could be tempted by a move to the Premier League, although the prospect of Champions League football at Wolfsburg could keep him in Germany.
