Reports in Italy suggest Milanese rivals AC and Inter are ready to do battle for the signature of Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor.
The Togo international has admitted his interest in a move to Italy on several occasions, and it's thought Arsenal are willing to cash in on him this summer.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is aware of the need to make changes to his squad as he bids to avoid a fifth season without a trophy. Adebayor's performances have declined this season, and Wenger may be prepared to let the player go if a suitable offer is made.
Inter are not yet sure whether star striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be at the San Siro next season, and are researching potential replacements. AC Milan have been keen on Adebayor for some time, but a move could depend upon whether boss Carlo Ancelotti completes a much-anticipated move to Chelsea.
