Geovanni stole all the headlines yet again as the Brazilian's 9th minute goal was enough to claim victory at White Hart Lane as Hull City won in North London for the second consecutive week.

The former Manchester City man curled in a stunning free kick from all of 30 yards to leave Tottenham rock bottom of the Premier League.

The visitors had chances to extend their lead as Dean Marney hit the inside of the post whilst at the back Spurs lack of firepower proved little trouble for Boaz Myhill and co.

It's been a fantastic week for Phil Brown and the Hull manager says he's so proud of the defensive display his side put in to leave North London again with maximum points and riding high in 3rd place.
