Robbie Keane finally got off the scoresheet following his £20.3m summer move from Spurs, at the 10th time of asking, to add to Dirk Kuyt's opener against PSV Eindhoven.

It's a ton up for Steven Gerrard as the midfielder scored his 100th goal for the club with a fizzing free kick before Danny Koevermans notched a consolation goal for the visitors.

Rafa Benitez paid tribute to his Captain Marvel and added that he's backing his star summer signing Keane to build on his first goal for the club and bag plenty more.
