ARSENAL 1-2 HULL CITY

A fantastic start to their Premier League campaign was amazingly disrupted at the Emirates of all places for Arsenal. Suffering just one defeat in 60 matches played at the ground, not even the travelling Hull faithful could have expected to nab all 3 points, especially after Paul McShane's own goal gave the home team the lead.

Arsene Wenger was left, in his words, "shocked" at Geovanni's incredible equaliser and Daniel Cousin's header which gave the visitors all three points. The Gunners' boss was lost for words after watching his team fall to their first defeat to the Humbersider's since World War I was in its infancy.
