Listen - Stoke City 0-2 Chelsea - Scolari admits difficult win
STOKE 0-2 CHELSEA
A comfortable afternoon for Chelsea as they overcame what is proving to be a tricky trip to the Britannia Stadium. The visitors were boosted early on as news broke from Stoke's dressing room that their long throw expert Rory Delap was missing.
Jose Bosingwa opened the scoring inside the first half an hour before Nicolas Anelka concluded the scoring, coming off the bench.
It was a result that left Chelsea at the summit and pleased Luiz Felipe Scolari, who was glad his team showed they can adapt to different opposition, albeit having to win 'ugly' from time to time.
