Listen - Ryder Cup 2008 - Poulter looks to bounce back
Listen - IAN POULTER REFLECTS
One of the main criticisms of Nick Faldo's choices surrounded that of Ian Poulter. Controversially picked ahead of Darren Clarke and Colin Montgomery, the 32 year old answered his critics by scoring highest overall. The man from Milton Keynes was priced @ 12-1 before the competition got under way to be Europe's top scorer & 20-1 to score highest overall.
Alas it wasn't to be but the man, nicknamed "Number Two" by Tiger Woods, says the team will bounce back for the re-match in Wales in 2010.
