The home crowd will be an extra spur for American Ryder Cup member Kenny Perry and his pairs partner JB Holmes. Both men are Kentucky born and looking forward to the big tee off at the Valhalla Golf Course in Louisville.

Perry admits he always wanted to be paired with Holmes and believes the two can manage to dent Europe's hopes of retaining the title.
