Listen - JUNIOR GORDON INTERVIEW
ParalympicsGB entered their first football team in 16 years to the games, with a 5-a-side team for the visually impaired and 7-a-side for players with cerebral palsy.
It took time for the 7-a-side team to get going, but they finally managed a win and in style as they romped host nation China 10-2 in the 7th/8th place classification match. Four goals from Michael Barker were the highlights, in front of a massive crowd of 4,235.
Mancunian Roy 'Junior' Gordon came on in the first half and got his name on the score sheet, and he says the squad will be much stronger when London 2012 comes around.
