Listen - Paralympic Games 2008 - Stubbs revels in Archery gold
Listen - JOHN STUBBS INTERVIEW
More golds for ParalympicGB, this time in Archery. Beijing has proved a happy hunting ground for the Brits as Athens 2004's gold medal haul of 35 has already been surpassed, with the team claiming 41 at the time of writing and 91 overall, just 3 short of the 94 they picked up four years ago.
It's been a happy debut for John Stubbs, who won the Individual Compound Open Event by defeating Italy's Alberto Simonelli 116-111 in the final. The 43-year old built on his previous best of silver in the World Championship.
A delighted Stubbs spoke to us after his achievement and says it's an absolute dream come true for him.
