Back from the euphoria of reaching their first ever Champions League final, Avram Grant has a weekend to think about their next upcoming match when his side visit a rejuvenated Newcastle United.

But it's his Premier League rival's team which has been the cause of controversy. West Ham United, with 3 wins in their last three against Manchester United, travel to Old Trafford in a bid to complete their second consecutive double over Sir Alex Ferguson's men. However it's Alan Curbishley's pre-match comments which have caused a stir in South West London, with the Hammers' boss admitting in an article that it would be 'unjust' for United to miss out on the title, despite being neck and neck with Chelsea.

Grant hit back at his opposite number at Upton Park, saying he was wrong to disclose his feelings on the matter.
