An evidently furious Gus Poyet braved the microphones after the 1-4 home thrashing to Newcastle United.

Michael Owen scored his third in three matches before Obafemi Martins broke to stroke home the fourth.

An emphatic loss to Newcastle means Spurs cannot wait for May to come around and go on their holidays.
