Chelsea have had to endure a tough week following their League Cup Final loss to Tottenham at Wembley.

Reports of a bust-up between John Terry and Henk Ten Caete hit the headlines from Dutch sources and rumours have spread that Roman Abrahamovich admitted he may have erred when parting company with Jose Mourinho.

Current incumbent Avram Grant fought back in his media briefing ahead of the trip to West Ham, claiming a mass over-reaction to 'just one defeat' had caused him to lose respect for certain journalists.

Speaking on Terry and Ten Caete's supposed argument, the Israeli claimed everything was fine just a minute after the altercation but the media had sensationalised the story to fit their needs.
