Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger was very complimentary to the stiff opposition on show against his side at Turf Moor.

The Gunners' took an early lead before Nicklas Bendtner eased any worries with a second after Kyle Lafferty was sent off for a what now seems routine off the ground lunge. Eduardo had scored his 11th of the season earlier to open the scoring.

But Wenger said he believes the game wasn't as simple as the scoreline suggested, and admitted Burnley were a tough test of character for his side.
