Listen - Chelsea 2-1 Newcastle Utd - Allardyce blasts officials!

It's no secret that Sam Allardyce is currently the most under pressure manager in the Premier League. Following a poor season so far the Christmas period brought no cheer for the Toon boss after a draw at home to hapless Derby and an abject defeat to Wigan at the JJB Stadium, all eyes were on Stamford Bridge to see if Big Sam had an answer.

A first half goal for the home side seemed to have paved the way for an expected comfortable afternoon and more pressure on the former Bolton boss. However, Newcastle's industrious approach rewarded them as Charles N'Zogbia's cross was eventually turned into his own net by Wayne Bridge, with Nicky Butt claiming the goal.

And just as Newcastle fans (and Chelsea too) were preparing to take a point from the match massive controversy contrived to snatch it away from them. John Obi Mikel's shot was deflected by Claudio Pizarro into the path of Salomon Kalou, who slotted home despite being at least three yards offside.

However, the assistant linesman did not raise his flag and the goal stood, much to Allardyce's anger.
