Chelsea lost the battle of the Emirates by a solitary goal following an awful and uncharacteristic error by Petr Cech. The keeper completely missed a seemingly straight forward corner in first half injury time only for William Gallas to score against his old side.

In a second half full of chances, Shaun Wright-Phillips missed arguably the easiest by blasting wide on the back post when scoring seemed simpler, whilst Andrei Shevchenko was denied by Manuel Almunia.

Boss Avram Grant says his side deserved 'at least' a point from the clash, as he suffered just his second defeat in 17 games.
