Following last weekend's vital 2-1 win over Manchester City, Spurs assistant head coach Gus Poyet says the side need to build on that confidence booster by winning their first away match of the season.

Poyet has high praise for Portsmouth before the trip to Fratton Park and believes Spurs will have to be at their very best in order to take maximum points.

The Uruguayan, assistant to Juande Ramos, also discusses how his manager will adapt to the traditionally busy Christmas period in England as opposed to Spain where clubs enjoy a mid-season break.
